Abha city

abha city

*Located Abha

Abha is the capital city of Asir Province in the southwestern part of Saudi Arabia. ‘Asir’ means ‘difficult’ in Arabic. The people there are also very hard-hearted. Like our mountain people, outsiders cannot buy or sell any land or trade. Asir Province consists of several hills, valleys, and plains. The city is about seven and a half thousand feet above sea level, and so the climate is cold throughout the year. It also receives the highest rainfall in the country, resulting in green pastures and agricultural land. The area is known for its beautiful scenery, misty mountain peaks, and cool air. People from other parts of Saudi Arabia come here to spend their holidays during the summer.best place visit Abha

* My experience with Ava Mountain Clouds

My friend and I took a 3-day vacation and left for Awara when the whole of Saudi Arabia was hot. The distance from Jeddah to Awara is about 500 km. We left at 7:30 AM and it took about 6-7 hours to reach there. Upon arriving, I forgot it was Saudi Arabia.

Typically, we think of Saudi Arabia as a desert with camels and palm trees. However, Awara is about seven and a half thousand feet above sea level, resulting in cold weather year-round. Being there felt like we were in Darjeeling, India, or Bandarban, Bangladesh.best place visit Abha

It was wonderful to see the clouds mingling with the high mountains. I felt like I fell in love with nature. The clouds lightly came and touched us. We stayed there for two days before heading back to Jeddah.
