Geographically, Saudi Arabia is the center of the world. Mecca or Bakka is the first land of the world. Mecca is a historical city long before the advent of Islam. The footprints of many prophets and messengers are on this holy land. The lower part of the Kaaba is the first floor of the earth. Later, it expanded from there. First a huge continent was formed. Basically, Saudi Arabia is a petroleum-based economy. Apart from petroleum, the country is rich in various mineral resources including natural gas, precious metals, gold, copper. Saudi Arabia owns about 16 percent of the world’s total petroleum. 90 percent of the country’s total export income comes from the oil industry. About 6 million foreign workers work in Saudi Arabia and play an important role in their own and Saudi Arabia’s economy. The role of agriculture in the economy of Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest landlocked country, is negligible.

However, the amount of agricultural land is 80.7 percent of the total land . 79.1 percent of this is pasture land . Less than 2 percent of the country s total land area is used for crop production . About half of the cultivated and the remaining land is irrigated . Most of the irrigated land is in Riyadh and Al Qasim districts . Dates , dairy products , eggs , fish , fruits , vegetables and flowers are produced in abundance

They have been very focused on exporting them to other countries to meet their needs
