When the Royal Commission began developing the Riyadh City project, it envisioned a family park that would offer a variety of natural environments where visitors could enjoy quality time with their loved ones. As a result, the park features lush green spaces, essential utilities, and a dedicated playground for children.
Designed to provide a refreshing escape, the park incorporates expansive greenery and beautifully landscaped areas to enhance the visitor experience while reducing congestion. To further contribute to environmental sustainability, additional green zones have been introduced, helping to mitigate road pollution.
A key feature of the project is an underground water collection system along King Fahd Road, comprising approximately 1,000 wells.
This system efficiently supplies water for irrigation and the artificial lake, ensuring a continuous and sustainable water source. The park’s development aligns seamlessly with the broader RCRC urban planning initiatives in the Qasr Al-Hukm district, complementing landmark projects such as the High Court headquarters, the Civil Defense headquarters, and Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Mosque.
The design thoughtfully integrates existing environmental and architectural elements. The historic palm farm has been preserved and enriched with additional trees, enhancing its natural beauty.
