King Abdullah was born on August 1, 1924, in Riyadh and lived a long and eventful life of 90 years. He was the only son of King Abdul Aziz from his mother’s side. During King Fahd’s reign, his younger brothers Sultan and Nayef passed away while still princes. Like King Fahd, King Abdullah also assumed the title of ‘Khademul Haramainish Sharifine.’
